The Dancing Doula was born when my love for fitness & movement fused with my passion for labour & birth.


Not only am I a wife and mother to 4 beautiful children,  I have 20 years of dance background through the British Association of Teachers of Dancing. I am also a certified personal trainer through the Canadian Fitness Professionals. I currently specialize in pre and post natal fitness. For the last 6 years I have been running Zumba dance classes, group fitness "bootcamp" style classes and one-on-one personal training sessions. I have also made it my mission to educate myself in pelvic floor wellness and I incorporate pelvic floor health in my current in-studio training sessions.  As a trainer and group fitness instructor, my main goal is to provide women with a safe, non-judgmental, healthy space to achieve their fitness goals.


Following the birth of my third child, I felt as if the universe called on me to expand upon my service to others. I felt a deep movement to support women not only during their fitness journeys, but also during the most monumental time of their lives - giving birth. I am a certified labour and birth Doula through Doula Canada. As a Doula, I offer support for all birth types. My role during labour and birth is to be your personal trainer. I vow to be beside you and your partner, offering you the guidance and hands-on support you need to ensure you have the best birth experience possible.

Most recently, I have taken to energy work as a way to expand my services to my clients. I became a level 2 reiki practitioner in April of 2019 and enjoy what reiki bring to the table for both my personal training clients and doula clients. Energy work is new to my list of services but near and dear to my heart and has many, many benefits both physically, emotionally and spiritually.
